I guess it is already common knowledge that Vitamin C helps the body maintain healthy tissues and a strong immune system. It is a tall order to be health conscious, and more often we slip and go slack on things that are beneficial to our health. The start of the year is always a good starting point to embark on a good health plan, in case we have not started on one yet.

I'm sure glad the following top natural sources of Vitamin C are readily available mostly all year round in the supermarkets: Oranges, Strawberries, Grapefruit Juice, Red Bell Pepper, Cantaloupe (Melon), Green Bell Pepper, Guavas, Kiwi...That is why there is no more excuse why we can't have our daily dose of Vitamin C.

I so love the bob cut, because it is kind of youthful and trendy. I hate to say this but I think it kinda look sweet even (oopss...some ladies may hate this adjective). But look - even famous celebs are swept with the trend, young and old alike!

Lately however - Katie, Victoria, and Rihanna have chopped their hair shorter. Is this a signal for shorter crops to become the next "IN" thing?

Waiting In Vain?

I've been hard pressed to take on additional projects, (times are really hard you see) so I sent out lots and lots of applications and proposals, but so far - zero replies! It is the waiting game that can surely kill slowly... slowly...

Was it something I said or did not say in my applications or proposals? Anyway, I observed lately that there are more scams out there than real work. In fact some are preying on us telecommuters or freelancers by offering super low rates or fees. Anyway, I decide that this waiting has got to stop. I still have another alternative plan...Hmmm, I guess I better try it out.

I've added a little box for hot new gadgets too. I'm not much of a techie so I guess it just might stay for a little while only. I'm not actually a big fan of miniature gadgets (noticed they get smaller and smaller every year?), because I still go for the big sizes ( components with big booming earth shattering sounds and large as in super laaarge TV's). But I must admit that these new gadgets on the markets are quite practical and useful too. So who am I to argue?... By the way I placed the box a little above My Beauty Shop (somewhere below in my blog).

I have this weakness for scents. If I have my way I would buy every brand-new scent that comes out in the market. But alas I find most of them expensive, so they are tucked away as luxuries for me. I may indulge in buying one every now and then but that’s about it, because I stand to sacrifice other loves like shoes, bags, and books (to name a few… ughhh!) if I gave in totally to this weakness. However this does not stop me from looking still for new products that come out in the market.
